Oxley Wild Rivers National Park is located on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. This vast expanse of wild terrain covers extensive forests, deep gorges, and rugged cliffs, offering scenic beauty and a haven for diverse wildlife. The area is home to several significant river systems, with the striking drops of waterfalls such as Wollomombi and Apsley Falls capturing the deepest gorges in the Park. Archaeological evidence suggests Indigenous populations lived in the area for thousands of years. Today, the park provides numerous recreational opportunities, including hikes to stunning vistas, wildlife photography with chances to see rare species such as the brush-tailed rock-wallaby, and excursions into pristine natural environments.
